About the Product
Wizard Wedges wooden matrix wedges, 500 per box, in five sizes: Slim Jim, Small, Large, Wide Base, and Assorted. They're made in the same factory, from the same birch wood and to the same triangular design as the Wizard Wedges formerly distributed by Waterpik.
These wedges give you better access and hold sectional and circumferential matrix bands steady during Class II restorations. The birch wood gives firm tooth separation and lets the tooth return to position quickly once the wedge is removed.
Wizard Wedges sizes: Slim Jim, Small, Large, Wide Base, Assorted
- Slim Jim: a thin profile for tight contacts and narrow embrasures.
- Small: for smaller interproximal spaces, such as premolars.
- Large: for larger interproximal spaces, such as molars.
- Wide Base: a broader base for open gingival embrasures.
- Assorted: a mix of sizes in one box of 500.

Why the branding changed
For years, these wedges were sold under the Waterpik name as part of a distribution agreement. That agreement has ended, but the original manufacturer still makes Wizard Wedges to the same specifications. GoldenDent now sells them directly under the original Wizard Wedges name.
What hasn't changed
- Same factory and manufacturing process
- Same birch wood and triangular wedge design
- Same five sizes: Slim Jim, Small, Large, Wide Base and Assorted
- Same performance you've relied on for matrix band procedures
